What Others Are Saying About the Book

“‘Yes’ is a dangerous word. Yet it is the very word that opens critical doors in life. David Rupert has written the book we all need to open our eyes to the power of ‘yes’ and spur us to action.”

Author of "Never Say No"/ Father to Switchfoot Founders

Living a Life of Yes: How One Word Can Change Everything is going to change the course of your life. Saying ‘yes’ opens the way for God to do what He wants in you and through you. David Rupert shows us that saying ‘yes’ is not about a religion, nor is it an activity. It is a relationship! David demonstrates how this affirmative response to God transforms lives. He gives examples of everyday people who’ve pushed through uncomfortable situations and moved past their fears to discover God in unexpected places.”

Stephanie Riggs

Emmy Award-winning television news anchor; Correspondent, Christian Broadcast Network

“David Rupert took a risk with his life and this book. Consistently obeying promptings for a year led him on the adventure of a lifetime. Reading this book to hear David’s story – and the stories of others who said ‘yes’ – is more than vicarious entertainment. It’ll prompt — and equip – you to say ‘yes’ to the great things life presents you.”

Jeff Spadofora

Coach at Half Time Institute and author of The Joy Model

“The simple word ‘yes’ is atomic: small but filled with nuclear power. Master storyteller David Rupert shows you how to access this power by Living a Life of Yes. The stories are true and the steps are simple. Without being preachy, this book will inspire and unleash you into a more abundant life. I dare you: say YES to this book . . . and then fasten your seat belt!”

Jim Walters

Executive Director, Servants of Christ InternationalSenior Pastor (retired) of Bear Valley Church

“David Rupert has some questions for you. Would you like to believe that your life matters? Do you have any personal dreams to make that happen? Are you willing to set aside your fears and take some chances to pursue those dreams? Do you sense God calling you to do something about these convictions? He also has your answer: YES!

Living a Life of Yes documents numerous practical and profound ideas and examples of Living a Life of Yes learned from Rupert’s life of ‘no’ leading up to an opportunity presented to him to visit the Middle East as a journalist during the beginning of the Syrian crisis and the rise of Isis in the region. His decision to finally say ‘yes’ changed everything and catapulted him into a completely different perspective of living, which this new book effectively and graciously details.

“So, get off the fence and walk through that slightly open doorway and follow David into the world of YES. It will change your life.”

Jeff Johnson
Musician, founder of Ark Records

“David Rupert has perfectly captured the art of saying ‘yes’ to God. This book is a must for anyone who’s tired of sitting on the sidelines and is ready to run with the purpose God has for their life.”

Every decision comes down to a single moment.

This might be yours.

After hearing you talk, I have concluded that my call is to be “dangerous.” I often feel inadequate to the task and can cower or shrink from the challenge but still feel the burden. So, I now resolve to “say yes” to opportunities to engage, minister, write, speak, or whatever.
